Bowser has to be one of my all-time favorite fictional characters. He’s big, he’s mean, he’s scary, but he’s also a bit oafish and adorable at the same time. Sure, he kidnaps Peach and has some serious incel energy, but he’s also a struggling single father trying to wrangle a plethora of psychotic kids. I feel for the guy a little.

I like to imagine him trying to get all the kids together for a family photo on Christmas, but the Koopa family is every bit as dysfunctional as you would expect.
